This is a super rich, deep caramel scent with a resinous backbone. The molten sugar and amber feel warm and golden, while the rosemary and cedar keep it from being too sweet. I don’t get much raisin or bread but it’s still so good
In the bottle, I get the warmest swirl of caramel pastries, laden with something like a deep brown sugar. It almost has a boozy aura. On the skin, I get a smokier edge paired with the sweetness, bringing a hint of mystery and danger.
As it settles, I do get the impression of a dark syrup on the skin, very rich.
Not a fan
It's a sweet scent from the strong caramel, but in a very well rounded way that I love and feel is rare to find. It really feels like having a decadent dessert made with what you'd find at a Medieval celebratory feast. It was almost exactly what I hoped for when I read the notes. My only complaint is I want more of the savoriness from the toast and Rosemary, but that may just be how it plays on my skin.
I love this scent, from what I've tried of my oil sample, and plan to get their edp with the hopes that the bread and rosemary note shine a little better in that form.
