On the Wing: Creamy white amber, velvety cashmere, shimmering silk voile, salty Orcanox, and diaphanous musk.
A sheer, airy, yet strong and concentrated skin scent.
Perfumer's Note: On the Wing is our fancy flanker of Moth-Like Stars (now carried exclusively by Moonlight Decants) and is offered only in EDPs because the raw materials don't lend themselves well to the parfum format.
Offered in 2 ml, 10 ml, and 30 ml eau de parfum glass spray bottles.

I related this originally to an outdoor wedding, where the candles had just been blown out on the cake, and everyone is running through the grass barefoot.
The longer I’ve worn this fragrance- it for some reason continues to remind me of my grandmothers old house, specifically the top of her carpeted stairs. The sun always would hit the stairs at sunset- and it would heat up and illuminate the carpet in the late afternoon which gave off a wool/ carpet scent. She also was so prone to having lady bugs in her home, and there was always a reminiscing scent of them in the surrounding rooms. Above this the bathroom sat atop the stairs where she kept many cherry and oatmeal fragranced items. Somehow this scent connected me to all of that. But it’s a beautiful glimmering silver cashmere fragrance, that also reminds me of a coat closet, once it’s full of all familiar friends and families winter coats. This is a very special scent.
There’s a contrast between lightness and depth: the skin-hugging warmth of amber and musk sits alongside something almost ethereal, a shimmer that’s barely there but noticeable. I’m not familiar with orcanox and i’m making my way towards understanding Arcana’s silk accord but I think that’s what is causing a shimmering/fuzzy effect with an undercurrent of something a bit dark. Sits close to the skin.
This is a stunning airy and ethereal scent. It’s wispy, slightly woodsy, and has that fuzzy texture cashmere that I love except it’s so much softer than I’m used to. This smells clean but also has this…edge to it. Like a lovers sweatshirt after they’ve worn it a few times.
