This perfume is wonderful!! Very dark academia, vanilla and is the dark witchy vibe I’ve been searching for! As soon as my sample arrived, I bought the 10 ml spray, then the next day got the full size because I have terrible FOMO for this scent! Now that I’m set for a little while, I can enjoy every whiff without worrying about it being retired.
This really does smell exactly like the pages of a spell book! Its has an old weathered parchment smell in the best, coziest way. It's just not something I'd enjoy as a perfume, a candle and I would be all over this during the fall.
This was a Gorgeous scent, starts off spicy but mellows out into a beautiful vanilla with a touch of pepper, which keeps it from becoming a typical cloying vanilla. Definitely reminiscent of old books.
I had high expectations. Old Grimoire exceeded these expectations and then some. This has a slightly masculine quality, which I prefer over florals. First spray is strong, but after 20 minutes, it settles beautifully, and is reminiscent of TF Tobacco Vanille, but way better, with more depth and character development. No regrets, I’m in love. This, combined with Witch Fire is pure magic!
I love the sweet paper-type smell here, but the caramel is a bit strong for me. It’s definitely less noticeable in the dry down, but I don’t find myself reaching for this as often as my other arcana scents.
