THE DEER GODDESS: Reindeer goddesses were once revered in early cultures across the Northern Hemisphere. Neolithic nomads worshipped the spiritual embodiment of the Great Mother of the Great Herd, for it is she--not the males--who retains her antlers in winter. It is she who leads and protects her family and people. It is her image found tattooed on female shamans in ceremonial graves. She nurtures us all, from our first steps to our last.
This smelled very earthy and wet at first and then started to smell almost like powdery steam. On my skin I get something that smells like a delicate white floral mixed with wet moss. Not only does it get better as it dries down, but i feel like im being transported to a foggy beach..the moon is full and its soft light drapes over my entire body. The fog and salty sea foam do a dance as if to summon something. This is such a beautiful earthy and aquatic scent
Very nice aquatic with some depth, as it smells more like the ambergris accord. There’s some saltiness but the fog, geranium, and cloud accord prevent it from being very heavy. I can’t pick up on exact notes besides the aforementioned ambergris but it’s really really nice and I repurchased a back up bottle.
I love Her Sea, someone stopped me on the street to ask what I was wearing. Me, “I can write it down for you!”
This is exactly what I was searching for. I had been wanting a scent that reminds me of the ocean at night, which is one of my favorite experiences in life. I just love going to the beach at night, under the moon, and speaking my truth into the ocean. This reminds me of that.
This is such a unique aquatic fragrance. It exceeded my expectations of what I had envisioned it would smell like. It is so addicting and haunting at the same time! I can picture how this represents a cold, overcast, rocky shoreline would smell. Slightly salty, a bit floral, sort of musky, and the animalic quality to it is not overwhelming. This is very well blended, this is the kind of fragrance that I keep lifting my wrist up to my nose for all day lol. I reallyyy like this one, I will be sad when I run out!
