Eros Perfume

opens woody with a fruity element that fades after a few seconds when a bit of woodsmoke coming in.

Instant favorite. There's my perfumes - and there's my daily rotation perfumes I keep with my makeup, that I rely on and wear often. Eros is in the second category for me.

In the bottle, my nose read Eros' blend of musks as a creamy note, mistaking them for vanilla. So they come off a bit creamy before you've sprayed it. I was almost a minute in, the perfume not even dry on my skin, before I was like "Wait a second. This is musk. White musk!" So immediately one of my skin's "bad" notes (I can't wear vanillas) turned into my skin's *best* note. White musk sings on my skin, and Eros is no different. Its mid and top notes are as sweet as infatuation, almost bakery sweet, and compliment its solid base so beautifully. This is one rich, sophisticated, beautifully-composed perfume.

From application to drydown, Eros is one long, sweet, gorgeous serenade. And because the base is musk-rich, I was still smelling this perfume 36 hours later. So it's lovely and sweet and it does. not. stop. Naturally, your time might vary, but 24 hours is a safe estimate. Eros does *not* mess around. The throw is perfect, too; beautifully modest but *far* from invisible. It's there - and people will notice it.

If white musks are a power note for you like they are for me, Eros will be a killer addition to your collection. Eros supercharges my aura.

I was a little worried I wouldn’t like this because it has jasmine, but you really can’t pick it out at all. All I get is a rich, warm, almost syrupy (but still somehow ethereal) skin musk. I’m so impressed with this I’m probably going to splurge on the 30ml. My favorite skin scent is Her Fawn, and to compare, this has a more “adult” quality to it, more sultry. I wish I had just gone for the full size rather than a sample; the hype is real!

I have a great love of skin scents, but with the exception of cetalox, they don’t tend to last for than 2-3 hours on me. Eros has changed the game though! It has lasted through a 9 hour laboratory shift and lots of hand washing, I’m extremely impressed. And a little goes a long way! I hope this is a returning scent, I want to keep buying this for as long as I’m able.

Eros is truly a sexy fragrance. This is truly a delicious amped up skin musk.
