Black Death: While the Bubonic plague brought incredible destruction to the medieval world, one side effect was a marked loosening of society's morals and standards. The scent of sexy urges gone wild in the face of unspeakable fear. An opening of juicy bergamot and narcotic amber leads to a heart of handmade clove smoke enfleurage, lusty, agrestic musks, rich toffee, Spanish vanilla powder, and protective clove buds.

Perfumer's Note: Black Death contains our handmade clove smoke enfleurage.
Parfums (concentrated perfume oils) are offered in 5 ml amber glass apothecary bottles and 1.25 ml amber glass sample vials. EDPs (spray perfumes diluted in alcohol) are offered in 10 ml and 30 ml glass atomizer bottles.
Vegan, cruelty free, handmade in small batches.

Hauntingly lovely. Bright bergamot followed by the smoothest musk and amber, veiled in a mist of smoky, herbal, spicy clove. As another reviewer noted, there's something else within the mixture to make one stop and wonder. A bit of sweetness, a bit of melancholy. A very interesting, thoughtful, and unusual perfume.
A must have. I read a review written by my beloved Midnight Stinks about this masterpiece and decided I had to try her out for myself. I love my perfumes to be a little different than say a designer scent (no shade) with something that makes me go hmmm. This fits the bill. I started small and I am going to upgrade to a 10 ml shortly. It’s warm and mysterious and perfect for the cold months I find myself in. I couldn’t keep my nose off of my wrist. I have loved every single thing I have smelled from Arcana and I plan on supporting them for many years to come.
I LOVE clove and was so intrigued by the smoke enfleurage process, so I had to try this. It's not as strong and smoky as Witch Fire but it's sweet and wonderful.
