In the bottle, this smells like leather, once I put it on, the leather seems to transform into a wonderful cedar scent that lasts an hour or two before settling down into the incense base mentioned in the description. This part lasts for a long time. I loved this one so much, I had to get a larger version so I could enjoy it through the fall and winter!
Normally leather is a no-go note for my skin so I was really hesitant to sample Valkyrie. After falling in love with a lot of other Arcana scents, I decided to trust them enough to give Valkyrie a chance and I'm so glad I did. It's a lovely soft, smooth, almost buttery leather note with gentle greens and worn wood. I find it so calming and meditative!
Old libraries. Books rarely opened. This is it.
Lovely perfume <3
This is a lovely mossy, woody scent. The leather and incense smoke peek through just enough without being overpowering and the longevity is excellent. This is not a “pretty” scent for the floral and gourmand girlies but it’s definitely beautiful and commanding.
