Witch Fire: Our handmade vanilla bean smoke enfleurage is deepened with precious vanilla absolutes from Uganda and Mexico, then smoldered with a drop of birch tar.
A rich and smoky gourmand.
Perfumer's Note: We haven't seen anyone do a vanilla bean smoke enfleurage before, so we may possibly have invented this! We also used natural vanilla absolutes, materials which can be somewhat extravagant for indie perfume, but they are more than worth their cost. Created with organic grape alcohol.
Parfums are offered in 5 ml amber glass apothecary bottles and 1.25 ml amber glass sample vials. EDPs are offered in 10 ml and 30 ml glass spray bottles.

This was not an immediate “love” for me, it’s complex and unexpected. But those are the qualities the caused it to grow on me, it’s a lovely fragrance. It’s June at the time of my purchase, but this fragrance is much more suited to cooler weather. I’m looking forward to wearing it more often this autumn.
At first, I thought the smokiness was a bit too strong but after applying it to my pulse points I became obsessed! Witch Fire is calming and invigorating at the same time.
Equal parts delicious and disturbing. The smokiness of the vanilla bean smoke enfleurage and birch tar is so unique and unsettling against the gorgeous golden vanillas. It wears beautifully for hours, and as the smokier aspects of the scent fade, one is left with a beautiful, resplendent skin scent of the softest vanilla and warm wood. I love this. My cat finds this perfume particularly intriguing as well!
I have a pile of niche and boutique perfumes… Arcana Wildcraft’s “Witch Fire” strongly delivers a delightful, rich and yet “grown up” gourmand scent (many gourmand scents miss the mark by smelling either like a little girl thrilled she has a scent like cookies, or on the opposing side, citrus and other scents end up smelling up like industrial cleaning products). A fraction of the price for a far superior product. KUDOS! 🥰
I don't even know how to accurately describe how special this scent is. The vanilla is so cozy and comforting but the smokiness makes it feel so elevated. This isn't a sweet candy type scent, it is a smoky vanilla hug from your best friend. I cannot get enough of the scent and I have collected a number of bottles (the oil and edp, body butter and atmosphere spray) to last me for a good long while.
