Witch Fire: Our handmade vanilla bean smoke enfleurage is deepened with precious vanilla absolutes from Uganda and Mexico, then smoldered with a drop of birch tar.

A rich and smoky gourmand.

Perfumer's Note: We haven't seen anyone do a vanilla bean smoke enfleurage before, so we may possibly have invented this! We also used natural vanilla absolutes, materials which can be somewhat extravagant for indie perfume, but they are more than worth their cost. Created with organic grape alcohol.

Parfums are offered in 5 ml amber glass apothecary bottles and 1.25 ml amber glass sample vials. EDPs are offered in 10 ml and 30 ml glass spray bottles.

Indie, handmade, vegan, cruelty free.

Safety Note: All of our perfumes are free of phthalates, parabens, sulfates, endocrine disruptors, preservatives, and silicones.

Smoky woody vanilla perfection

Witch’s Fire is the vanilla I’ve been calling forth for ages, a smoky, vanilla elixir that feels born from ritual flames. It opens with molten lava like vanilla extrait, dark and decadent, wrapped in smoke that moves through the air like smoke winding through the night after a fire has just been whispered out. The vanilla absolutes used here are unlike anything I’ve smelled before darker, earthier, woodier, richer, just a bit spicier, and smooth like ambered syrup. The birch tar adds the impression of smoke drifting through a forest clearing, fresh burning wood, cool air, and embered leaves. It’s what keeps the vanillas alive and grounded, creating this beautiful, wild sweetness. Witch’s Fire smells and feels like vanilla alchemy, both sacred and sensual, like tending your own veiled flame in the dark while connecting to something deeper and sweeter.

It performs beautifully, easily 6+ hours on my skin with a rich, steady projection…cozy, natural, with hypnotic rhythm. Witch’s Fire is both comforting and enchanting, grounding yet evoking, as if the scent itself remembers the smoke that birthed it. It’s a flame you wear that’s dark and warm, and leaves trails of smoke and sweetness wherever you go. Witch’s Fire is stunning on its own, but also married with other resinous and/or woody frags in particular. If you are looking for a smoky vanilla that smells natural, intoxicating and magical Witches Fire is for you🖤

Really interesting!

This scent is likely not one I would buy again. It’s too sweet with a undertone that I cant place and don’t like. I was expecting more smokiness to this scent and was surprised that its not. Disappointed because I love the name, but Bonfires at Dusk is better suited for me.

Love!

Love this perfume! I received this in a sampler from Surrender to Chance and will definitely be buying more. I was scared the smokiness would be overpowering, but it's really not at all. As others have said, it smells a lot like vanilla extract, but to me, the smokiness adds a bitterness that balances out the sweetness of the vanilla perfectly.

Vanilla extract

This one smells like vanilla extract to me. I definitely get the hit of vanilla, but it isn't the over-the-top cupcake frosting vanilla that you can get from a lot of vanilla perfumes (and what made me think I hated vanilla). Don't get me wrong, this perfume does have a sweetness to it. I didn't really get the smoke note at first, but there is a nice woody undertone in it that helps it from going too sweet. It does come out a bit later on though.
