Dark creamy woody coconutty musky yumminess

I'm a coconut fiend. I can't live without it. I just NEED it in my life and its necessary in at least some form, it doesnt even need to be the center of attention in my scents. I like it all..dark, light, creamy, nutty, etc. I know its not everybody's cup of tea but if you're looking for a dark woody version, then this is it. I mainly like darker woody musky and gourmand scents, and do not forget the coconut in that little mix. I try to stay away from florals unless theyre balanced well enough. I'm not into too much of a citrusy, fruity, herbal, or saponic scent, though I dont mind those nuances in perfumes if it centralized around a darker or creamier side.

Before I got into indie perfumes, I liked to test decants of some more expensive niche perfumes and one of my favorites was The House Oud Crop 2018. I actually purchased it several times because I was just so in love with it. I saved a teeny bit to smell in passing but I had to stop wearing it eventually. Then I run into this beauty, Oxomoco. Instant love, drench me in this all day, everyday, bury me with a bottle I can take with me to the afterlife. Dramatic? Yes... but this is what a literal goddess would smell like. Ethereal but not angelic. More the smoky aura of a dark angel from the underworld. I gotta get an extra or two and save a bottle for years down the line because this is just... perfection. This is Crop 2018 but more rich in my opinion. Its more creamy, more woodsy, more musky, its just more of my fantasy. The coconut isn't front and center but is so well weaved throughout everything else it gets your attention without demanding it. The whiffs i get as I go through my day makes my eyes roll to the back of head. Sexy AF.

elemental and strange and unutterably glorious

Oxomoco is (to my nose, anyway!) the scent of Leonora Carrington's shadowy, enigmatic "The Feast of Samhain" distilled into fragrance—a realm where darkness consumes light, where fathomless frankincense overwhelms a pale, luminous core with primal intensity. Smoke spirals and weaves through soft coconut milk, creating a landscape of raw, mystical contrasts: hand-captured frankincense emerges not as a delicate whisper but as a profound presence, its tendrils curling against the saline, creaminess like umbral fingers of smoke tracing a tenebrous shroud. Threaded throughout, cedar and amber drift like ghostly mediators—subtle conductors that amplify the tension between the scent's disparate elements, lending depth to its complex intricacy The coconut milk lurks like a secret silver thread, barely visible beneath the deep, consuming woodiness—both elements distinct, stubborn, refusing to blend yet creating a complex, unresolvable presence, elemental and strange and unutterably glorious.
