Fenris: The ancient Norse feared the cataclysmic day foretold in prophecy when this massive wolf breaks free of his chains and kills Odin, the All Father. A classic amber accord (labdanum resin, benzoin resin, and sweet, rich Mexican vanilla) is enhanced with molten gold, carnal notes, mild cardamom, and a silken lupine fur accord.
An animalic amber.
Perfumer's Notes: If you are familiar with i Profumi di Firenze's Ambra del Nepal, this is somewhat in the same wheelhouse. The difference? Fenris is more carnal, more intense, and more beast-like. Fenris uses the same soft, gentle labdanum found in Puck rather than the intense labdanum found in our (currently unavailable) Nott.
